microtakeover

The Audio/Visual piece entitled microtakeover is an exploration thru the small vastness of life. An expression and indirect communication that intends to let the viewer experience how ever many levels of size and the causation that space defines.

microtakeover was conceptualized then created by means of animation, compositing and programming. The video was then transferred to KiloWatts to design the audio around then sent back to Psymbolic to make final edits. This creation method flipped the usual creative process and in our opinion, ultimately alters the viewing aesthetic. Psymbolic usually approaches creating video to be synched realtime to future audio and KiloWatts usually creates audio as a track to be a part of an album and/or performed live at events.

There is a certain magick that happens to a viewer when they experience video and audio truly in synch... nJoy//

An exciting video. I liked how it showed the small micro level of movement of cells in conjunction with the macro level of movement with city landscapes and people.

I think these types of work are important to convey messages to people. Like, the more subtle a message is the more powerful of an impact it can make if the viewer connects with it.

Thank you for producing the Microtakeover video, the video is absolutely stunning. It reminds me of some of the stuff I used to see come out of the Amiga Demoscene. Were you around those old coders? .mod players and demos were how I discovered electronic music.

Thank you for your love and dedication.

I like the audio and the many unconventional ways of synchronizing the video. Trippy! After a whole day of work, I just melted in my chair while watching it :)

Congratulations on the great job you two did on the video. It was really good. I Love the part with the planets, it's one of my favorite moments, other than the eyes part when the third eye opens up permeating love in a low vibration, high saturation frequency morphing into a digital representation almost with the feel of digital turntable readout, oh oh and the part when it all dies and you leave everyone waiting and holding their breath for the rebirth of imagery and beat reminiscent of the primordial drum beat in our core, yeah that part is my favorite.

You guys as usual are pushing forward at an incredible rate. The microtakeover sounds incredible, I love public displays like that as you touch and evolve people and places on a subconscious and daily level. Integrating art especially digital into people's environment is something that should be happening way more often. Glad to see you got Kilowatts on board as well, his stuff is getting ridiculous! :)
